Cisco CX Studio

A referencing app for near and long term CX capabilities.
Project Background
CX design team delivers working prototype (UI Specs) for different versions and capabilities to the engineering team. This makes it difficult to keep track of all those UI Specs. Tracking enables accountability by making sure that the feedback (both customer and executive) of previous versions are addressed in the new versions.

"This portal would add significant value in making sure customers feedback are taken care of ." - CX Design Leadership
Scope of the project
This platform is for the consumption of Cisco Leadership. Apart from them, this platform would also serve as a quick reference application for Product Managers, Engineering Team and Design Team.
My role
I was one of the two designers who on this project. I worked both as researcher and designer. I was involved in end to end design process, starting from research, conceptualization to the deliverable of final designs.
Whom did I work with
I worked closely with the other designer working on this project. We also worked with design leadership and engineering team.
Project Goals
A platform to interact with UI Spec and align strategic priorities.
A referencing tool for near and long term CX capabilities

Users
We had 3 sets of persona. First once included the executive leadership. Second included designers, researchers and developers. The third set was of product managers and engineers.
Executive Leader
The executive leader needs to find the latest version of UI specs quickly, track the changes and provide their feedback
Designer, Researcher and Developer
The Designer, Researcher and Developer  needs to access and share the UI Spec link of different projects and versions and track feedback from executives and customers
Product Manager and Engineer
The Product Manager and Engineer needs to refer the project UI details for aligning priorities.
Designs
We delivered the designs for MVP. Because of time and resource constraints few of the features were not included in the MVP. We also proposed and produced long term designs for the CX Studio.
Landing Page
CX Studio with a brief description
Quick access to the recently released UI Specs along with key highlights
Side navigation bar for selecting a project/version - consistent throughout CXhibit
Navigate through different versions
Timeline - gives the scope for scaling the design
Easily switch between different versions, gives an approximate idea about the release month
A clickthrough video, giving an idea of interactions/navigation in the prototype.
Upload/ Extract Source Information
Connect directly to live ASA or upload config files
Supports the policy extraction from Cisco ASA and competitors including Checkpoint and Palo Alto Networks
Select Context in case of showtech file
Quick parsing of the config files would show Interfaces, Routes, ACL and NAT.
Customer feedback from various research sessions
Manage and push policies it to Firepower Management Center
Followed Schneiderman’s Mantra of overview first, then zoom and filter, and then provide details only on demand
Used accordion as component to drill in the detailed view
